AM (additive manufacturing, 3D printing) is the process of building up a work piece layer by layer. Several distinct technologies have emerged over the last few decades, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. 3ERP understands each technology, and can apply this knowledge to your projects for optimal results. For certain geometries, additive manufacturing is the best approach to creating a physical part – certain features would be impossible to create by conventional (subtractive) methods. In some cases, AM offers great advantages in material science. Sintering-based machines use powdered stock material – opening up opportunities to exploit the strengths of powder metallurgy. The engineer can specify (otherwise) impossible alloy combinations, as well as alloys that are impractical or impossible to machine (eg. due to work hardening properties.) Additive manufacturing may also offer the most viable fabrication option when part quantities are low.
Polyurethane vacuum casting components produced from silicone mould is an economical way to create batch prototyping for exhibitions, marketing research.
The required surface finish for the parts can be created by the master pattern. for example, SLA or CNC model with matt or high gloss painting finish. A good silicone material will duplicate perfect details to the casting. by vacuum casting, we can duplicate the existing components easily.
Vacuum casting is also the process to make rubber parts (hardness from Shore A 35 to Shore A 90). We can also make silicone prototypes by using ABS or Aluminum moulds.
Combining our formidable CNC milling and turning capabilities with expertise in plastic moldings, 3ERP offers rapid tooling as an option for creating excellent plastic & metal parts in a range of production-grade materials. We recommend rapid tooling as an intermediate step between prototyping and mass production. It facilitates fast entry into the market, with setup costs far lower than production tooling.

For objects with continuous cross-sectional profiles, extrusion is a very efficient manufacturing process. Molten material is forced through a die onto the runout table, where it cools before proceeding on towards post processing. (For aluminum this includes straightening, work hardening, cutting to length, heat treatment and various surface treatment options.)
3ERP is positioned to offer aluminium extrusion as a low-volume process suitable for prototyping. We can combine it with other processes (eg. CNC milling, EDM, bending etc) to achieve complex results.

We have the ability to execute cost effective small batches – providing a great “next step” for projects where CNC is too expensive, but quantities are to low for common industry providers.
